STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi State and the University of Mississippi will face off on the gridiron for a good cause next Tuesday [Nov. 13] in the 5th Annual Unified Sports Egg Bowl.
Students from both universities will team up with Special Olympics Mississippi athletes in a flag football game on the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵcampus.
Due to weather concerns, the Unified Sports Egg Bowl has been moved from the RecPlex to the main gym in MSU's Sanderson Center.
Festivities will begin with performances from ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵspirit squads, the Famous Maroon Band and Bully at 6 p.m. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Admission to the game is free.
The Unified Sports Egg Bowl was started in 2014 as a way to build on the excitement surrounding the annual football game between ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵand Ole Miss for a worthy cause. The game has helped raise thousands of dollars for Special Olympics Mississippi.
