STARKVILLE, Miss.—Insurance professionals can earn up to 12 continuing education credit hours and hear a keynote by the former Black Hawk pilot who inspired the movie Black Hawk Down during Mississippi State’s 32nd Annual Insurance Day program April 3 and 4.
Hosted by the ݮƵCollege of Business’ Risk Management and Insurance Program, the continuing education program will take place at The Mill at ݮƵConference Center.
Keynote speaker Michael Durant, best-selling author and decorated U.S. Army veteran, will give a speech titled “In the Company of Heroes” at 12:45 p.m. on April 4.
Insurance Day attracts hundreds of professionals for sessions that focus on current industry issues. This year, a commissioners’ session will feature Mississippi Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney, along with top insurance officials from five other states. Other topics include ethics, leadership and the future of the insurance industry.
