Leah Boyd crowned Miss ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ

STARKVILLE, Miss.—Senior Leah A. Boyd of Madison, Alabama, was named Miss ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ during a public program Friday [Sept. 27]. The music education major with piano and voice concentrations will represent ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵnext summer in the Miss Mississippi Pageant in Vicksburg.  Pictured from left are Sydney E. Slocum, a senior kinesiology major and psychology minor from Olive Branch, third runner up; Rachel K. Shumaker, a junior political science and communication/public relations major with a pre-law minor from Pontotoc, second runner up; Miss ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵLeah A. Boyd; and Maggie A.
