STARKVILLE, Miss—Jersey Mike’s Starkville is making a donation to support ݮƵ’s T.K. Martin Center for Technology and Disability.
Pictured at the T.K. Martin Center in early March, Starkville franchise owner Bret Dunnaway presented a donation of more than $3,500 to T.K. Martin Center Director Kasee Stratton-Gadke. The gift is part of the company’s business model involving every franchise’s selection of a local charity to support. Dunnaway and his wife selected the T.K Martin Center for Technology and Disability located on the Starkville campus.
“A few weeks ago, we received an exciting call from Bret at Jersey Mike’s,” Stratton-Gadke said. “Bret explained that his business would be partnering with a local charity as part of the Jersey Mike’s mission, and they had chosen us! We were thrilled and even more honored after learning about the Jersey Mike’s mission of giving.”
Stratton-Gadke explained that this donation is helping the T.K. Martin Center maintain a campus and community presence and allows the center to continue its service impacting the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families.
“As a center that operates on grants and donor support, this partnership is very meaningful to us,” she said. “Not only does it connect T.K. Martin more with the community, but it also supports our preschool program for students with special needs. We are so appreciative to the entire Jersey Mike’s family for welcoming us in and supporting our mission.”
