Deadline for Mediflex adjustments is Oct. 31
The Internal Revenue Service just released the 2023 contribution maximum for unreimbursed medical spending accounts, which is $3,050, up $200 from 2022.
Employees have until Oct. 31 to make changes to their Mediflex account for calendar year 2023. The enrollment form must be completed to elect new enrollment, make changes to an existing account or cancel contributions to a medical reimbursement and/or a dependent care account. No action is necessary for participants who wish to maintain the same annual election for 2023.
As a reminder, open enrollment ends on Oct. 31, 2022. For State Health Benefits only, open enrollment ends Nov. 15.
