ݮƵhosting Project MFG SEC Machining Competition Thursday, Friday [Oct. 24, 25]
Students from Mississippi State and five other Southeastern Conference universities will compete in the Project MFG SEC Machining Competition this Thursday [Oct. 24] and Friday [Oct. 25].
Held each day from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Michael W. Hall School of Mechanical Engineering located in Carpenter Hall, the competition is an opportunity to highlight the vital role of trades in manufacturing. Project MFG holds nationwide trades events that bring together partnerships of employers, educators and communities to inspire the next generation of highly skilled trade professionals.
Competing institutions include MSU; Auburn and Texas A&M universities; and the universities of Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee. For more information, visit .
