Studying Russian History in Moscow
Part of a small group of students spending five weeks in Russia to study language, culture and history at Moscow University of the Humanities, along with Stephen Brain, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵprofessor of history, are Stuart Simms, a history major from Athens, Alabama, and Kaitlyn Crawford, a criminology major from Madison. Pictured with a statue of Alexander Pushkin, a famous Russian poet, the students spent half days in intensive language classes before afternoon excursions to historical and cultural sites, including the Kremlin, Winter Palace and Sergiyev Posad.
