Harvesting Good for the Community

Mississippi State graduate student Geoffrey Lalk of Starkville and senior Cheyenne Burchfield of Eupora, both studying horticulture in the, harvest lettuce from the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵCommunity Garden at the Landscape Architecture complex. The harvested produce benefits a local food pantry. The garden, which hosted three academic courses in fall 2017, is a cross-campus collaboration between the College of Architecture, Art and Design; the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences; and the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵStudent Association.
