Performing the Classics
Members of Mississippi State's present "Oedipus," a Greek tragedy by Sophocles, in Griffis Hall on Tuesday [Sept. 25]. The play is part of MSU's annual Classical Week, when the Shackouls Honors College invites university and community members to join its celebration of Greek, Roman and other ancient cultures. An additional performance of "Oedipus" will take place Wednesday [Sept. 26] at 6 p.m., either inside Griffis Hall or in the courtyard, weather permitting. The show is free and open to the public.
